Glen Oaks Board of Trustees approves Presidential Search Profile

The Glen Oaks Community College Board of Trustees approved the Presidential Search Profile during the December board meeting. Trustee Joseph Haas, chair of the presidential search committee shared information about the recent public forums that were held to gather information for the profile. The search committee met last week format the information into the document. Jill Board, from the Association of Community College Trustees, (the firm contracted to conduct the search) facilitated the meetings. “Overall, I’m happy with the committee’s involvement,” said Haas. “There will be a lot happening over the next couple of months. The hope is to review resumes and interview eight or nine candidates in April, with plans to bring three or four to campus shortly thereafter.
