Glen Oaks Community College will host a free, three-day hazmat workshop, May 16 – 18, at the Centreville, Rd. campus to provide a basic knowledge of the Department of Transportation hazmat regulations.
The workshop is intended for all hazmat non-government and government employees that handle, ship, package, transport, and complete shipping documentation of hazardous materials/waste (via ground, air and vessel) per DOT training requirements.
Class size is limited to 20 students and interested participants should act fast. The deadline to register is May 1. A minimum of 10 participants is required to offer the program.

This course is funded by the US DOT PHMSA Hazardous Material Instructor Training grant support to the National Partnership for Environmental Technology Education. Per the grant, government employees are eligible to participate in this program. Coffee and lunches will be provided by Glen Oaks Community College.
